The 950A is fitted with a turbo charged SHANGCHAI CAT C6121 diesel engine, which increases power, lowers fuel consumption, produces less noise and is more reliable. A SHANTUI single 4-element double turbo hydraulic torque converter makes full use of the engine. The LG planetary power shift transmission has a compact structure and high efficiency. The LG50 axle with it’s huge carrying capacity has better reliability, good load distribution and also perfects the stability of whole machine. The soft axes control hydraulic system with double pumps, flow diversion circuit and priority steering, are light and flexible. Full-hydraulic steering system is stable to operation, has flexible steering, and comfortable to drive. Working equipment system is double lift arm Z-connection, which has a larger lift power and higher efficiency. Articulated frame has small turning radius, good flexibility, the box frame can carry larger capacity with high intensity and good stability. Air over hydraulic disc brake on 4 wheels can ensure the security for driving, the brake is balanced and safe. The cab with wide eyesight and broad bosom can alleviate the shake and noise. The operation instrument is rational placed and easy to use. The other optional transmutations are forked bucket for timber; lengthened lifting arm, extended bucket, rock bucket and so on.
